Thirty-seven members present--what a great way for NCTCA to start the year. In addition Connie Massey announced that our membership passed 100. Not only were we treated to a wonderful program by Linda Duncan, but also we had delicious cookies to enjoy made by Janie Fox. At least seven men connected to NCTCA helped place Santa Calls for the Warm Place. Over $26,000 was raised for this worthy cause. Thanks to all of you who brought diapers for another one of our community projects. We will continue collecting diapers for the Eagle Mountain Pregnancy Help Center through our last meeting April 16, 2012.
Several items of business were discussed. Past President Claudia Roberts is seeking input for officers for next year. The positions open are President Elect, Senator, Secretary, and Board Member. Information pertaining to LPC changes was a major concern brought up by Debbie Gardner. Seldon Mapel presented a By Laws change which is posted on the web site that will be voted on at our February 13 meeting. Children of members heading for college or already there are urged to complete the Scholarship form posted on the web site. Lastly members are encouraged to mark their calendars for the three-hour Ethics Workshop to be held from 9:00-12:00, March 24, 2012.
